Building Independence, Confidence and Opportunity - Women
Compassion, Care and Stewardship - Animals
Restoration, Conservation and Legacy - Land & Water
I am the first woman in three generations of my family to stand on truly independent ground.
My grandmother lived during a time when women often depended on men for financial survival. She spent much of her life struggling to make ends meet and, in her later years, could not afford to live on her own. Despite her strength and resilience, the opportunities available to her were limited.
My mother came of age during a period of enormous change. As a divorced woman raising children in the 1970s and 1980s, she fought her way through industries dominated by men, including real estate and construction. She worked hard, built a career, and proved that women could succeed in spaces where they were often underestimated. Yet even her generation was taught to trust that systems like Social Security would provide security in old age, leaving many without the savings they would ultimately need.
Watching her struggle shaped me.
I entered adulthood carrying the lessons, fears, and hopes of the women who came before me. Like many women, I experienced difficult relationships, financial uncertainty, and periods of questioning my own path. I worked from a young age, raised a child, and learned through experience rather than privilege.
Today, I own my home. I support myself. I make my own decisions. I have built stability where previous generations of women in my family could not.
That journey is the reason Fire Horse Circle exists.
Fire Horse Circle was founded on a simple belief: every woman deserves options.
No woman should feel trapped because she lacks financial knowledge, practical resources, emotional support, or confidence in her ability to create a different future. Independence is not simply about income. It is about having choices.
Our mission is to help women build lives rooted in stability, self-sufficiency, and dignity while extending that same spirit of care to animals and the natural world.
We believe healing happens in circles. When women gain confidence, they strengthen families and communities. When animals are cared for, compassion grows. When land is restored and protected, future generations inherit something stronger than what came before.
Fire Horse Circle seeks to create those connections.
We honor the struggles of the women who came before us. We celebrate those finding the courage to change their circumstances today. And we work toward a future where independence, stewardship, and opportunity are available to all.
My grandmother survived.
My mother pushed boundaries.
I built stability.
Now it is time to help others do the same.
